JURAJ VISHNY

The “Father of Czechoslovakia Bodybuilding” JURAJ VYSHNY (Ing. arch. Juraj Višny) since 1967 until 1968 participated at eight bodybuilding competitions. Best result of JURAJ VYSHNY was the first place in his category and the Over All Winner’s Title at the first Czechoslovakia bodybuilding championship that was held in 1968in Bartislava (Now the capital City of  Slovakia).

Pupil of BOB HOFFMAN USA bodybuilder VERN WEAVER (1937 – 1993) since 1958 until 1966 participated at eleven A.A.U. and N.A.B.B.A. competitions. Best results of VERN WEAVER were the first places at the 1963 A.A.U. “Mr. America” and 1964 N.A.B.B.A. “Mr. Universe”.

Representing the famous „Vilnius Bodybuilding School“ and a pupil of the talanted trainer CESLAV TAMULEVIC (Чеслав Тамулевич) bodybuilder PAVEL TARAKANOV (Павел Тараканов) participated at the 1968 first historical „Amber Prix International“ („Gintarinis prizas“, «Янтарный приз»). Then PAVEL TARAKANOV bacame a Junior Category Winner. The Over All Champion was another Vilnius bodybuilder VALDAS ALIUBAVICHUS (Валдас Алюбавичус).

Cuba origin USA bodybuilder GEORGE PAINE (1924) since 1949 until 1978 participated at the thirty six A.A.U., N.A.B.B.A., W.B.B.G. and I.F.B.B. competitions. Among multiple winnings GEORGE PAINE is famous with the first places at the 1953, 1954 A.A.U. „Most Muscular“, at the 1966 N.A.B.B.A. Pro „Mr. Universe“ and at the 1977 W.B.B.G. Pro „Mr. America“.
