IN MEMORY OF INNAR MARDO
GEORG TENNO MEMORIAAL GEORG TENNO MEMORIALS INTERNATIONAL TALLINN GEORG TENNO was one of the pioneers of bodybuilding in the USSR as well as in Estonia. Afterhis tragic death in a car event Estonians started organizing International GEORG TENNO MEMORIAL Competitions. There was a period of two decades when bodybuilding in the Soviet Union was prohibited as a Western sport. GEORG TENNO MEMORIAL Competitions in Estonia and "AMBER PRIX" Contests in Lithuania were the only regular bodybuilding competitions in such a big country. In reality thesecontests were unofficial USSR Bodybuilding Championships. During the hard times of the prohibition only Tallinn in Estonia and Klaipeda in Lithuania had courage to organize regular international contests. In most cases GEORG TENNO MEMORIAL Competitions were organized by INNAR MARDO. He was the soul of Estonian bodybuilding, doing his best to IFBB and NABBA both. In GEORG TENNO MEMORIAL Competitions outstanding bodybuilders of Estonia were "born and educated", such as OLEV ANNUS, INDREK OTSUS, ARKADI AJU, KONSTANTIN ZASTER, VLADIMIR JELUFIMOV, PAVEL KOSENKO.
