JORGE BRISCO

Argentina bodybuilder JORGE BRISCO (1940 – 2008) got interested in bodybuilding in 1959. After several successful national level competitions in 1964 he participated at the I.F.B.B. “Mr. World” in Canada and among eighty athletes was the Winner.

KLEMENSAS ALSHAUSKAS

A Lithuania bodybuilding Pioneer KLEMENSAS ALSHAUSKAS (Klemensas Alsauskas, 1940) participated at competitions since 1966 until 1969. In 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969 he was Lithuania National Champion. Best achevements at competions of KLEMENSAS ALSHAYUSKAS was the victory in the category at the 1968 „Amber Prix International“ („Gintarinis prizas“, „Янтарный приз») in Klaipeda and at the «International Baltic Cup» in Kaunas.

USA bodybuilder LLOYD LERILLE (1936) since 1959 until 1980 competed at the nive A.A.U. and N.A.B.B.A. contests. His best results were in 1960 when he become a Category Winner at the A.A.U. „Mr. America“, at the A.A.U. „Most Muscular“ and at the N.A.B.B.A. „Mr. Universe“.

A representative of the „Vilnius Bodybuilding School“ VIKTOR CHARKEVICH (Виктор Харкевич) was a category winner at the 1970 Lithuania National Championship. His best competition result was the first place at the 1971 International Contest in Kaunas (Lithuania) and at the «Georg Tenno Memorial in Tallin (Estonia).

USA bodybuilder MELVIN WELLS (1919 – 1994) since 1949 until 1954 participated at the seven A.A.U. competitions. His best result acheived was two first places at the A.A.U. „Most Muscular“ contests in 1949 and 1950. Also in the same years MELVIN WELLS was in the second places at the A.A.U. „Mr. America“.

JURGIS JANCIAUSKAS

In 1970 a representative of the „Vilnius Bodybuilding School“ JURGIS JANCIAUSKAS (Juras Janciauskas) became a Category Winner at the „Amber Prix International“ competition. In 1971 he two times participated at the International contests in the Poland Democratic Republic -  in Warszawa and in Rodon was in the second place.

Representing the “Muscle Beach” USA bodybuilder ARMAND TANNY  (1919 – 2009) participated at many competitions. His best results were in 1949 and 1950. In 1949 ARMAND TANNY became the A.A.U. “Mr. America” Winner and in 1950 he won A.A.U. “Mr. World”.

VALDAS ALIUBAVICIUS

Lithuania sculpturer and a representative of the „Vilnius Bodybuilding School“ VALDAS ALIUBAVICIUS (Valdas, Valdemaras Aliubavichus, 1942 – 2003) participated at bodybuilding contests since 1968 until 1972. He was a Lithuania National Champion of the 1968, 1969, 1970 and 1971. In 1969 at the „Siberia Cup“ («Первенство Сибири») in Russia Tiumen City VALDAS ALIUBAVICIUS became the Junior Over All Winner. Representing the U.S.S.R. in the same year in Warszawa (Democratic Republic of Poland) at the International „Warszawa - 69“  contest he was a Category Champion. In 1969 he was the Champion of the International Contest in Palanga (Lithuania) and a Category Champion at the second „Amber Prix International“. In 1971 and in 1972 VALDAS ALIUBAVICIUS became the Winner at the „Georg Tenno Memorial“ in Estonia. Also in 1971 and in 1972 he was a Category Winnet at the U.S.S.R. Championships in Sverdlovsk (Russia).

ANTANAS MINEIKIS

Former Lithuania power circus performer and bodybuilder ANTANAS MINEIKIS (1940 – 2013) devoted all his life to sport. His highest achevements were the Over All Winner‘;s titles at the 1969 and 1970 „Amber Prix International“ („Gintarinis Prizas“, „Янтарный приз»). In 2000 ANTANAS MINEIKIS won the same title at the „Amber Prix International“ among Seniors. In 2004 he was among Seniors in the second place in the W.F.F. – W.B.B.F. World Championship.
