HISTORICAL GLIMPSE.

Looking through the International Bodybuilding History today we can state, that from 1898 England, France and Russia were the World‘s countries-pioneers of the competitive bodybuilding sport.

In the the beginnging of the last Century no International Bodybuilding Contests were held. Only several times France and England organized International Events that were called „Europe Championships“ by the organizers. The former President of the UK public sport club NABBA (National Amateur Body Building Association) OSCAR HEIDENSTAM  was participating at these events too.

SERGE NUBRET.

When we speak about the International Bodybuilding in France, we always mean SERGE NUBRET personality. SERGE NUBRET was a talanted International Level Professional Bodybuilder, superious organizer and also a cinema actor.

SERGE NUBRET  was a close friend of the owner and the President of the IFBB Commercial Company  (International Federation of Body Builders) BEN WEIDER who appointed SERGE NUBRET to the position of the first in the IFBB history Vice President ever (1971-1974).  After a number of inner scandals and intrigues SERGE NUBRET  had been  blackmailed and dismissed from the IFBB. Then in 1976 SERGE NUBRET  set his own not registered by Law private International Bodybuilding Structure and named it WABBA (World Amateur Body Building Association).

In 1983 SERGE NUBRET  wrote in his letters to the International  President WFF-WBBF (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS that in 1976 he set the WABBA „in order to fight against the IFBB“.

WEIDERS SMASH WABBA.

For ten years organizing several anual International Events until 1989  WABBA  was working sucessfully. Ending the eighties of the last Century being not registered oficcially as International Sport Organization the International WABBA structure was based on the folowing: SERGE NUBRET  was the Owner of the Name and Logo of WABBA. Also he was the „WABBA International Coordinator“. The formal President of WABBA was RENAUT ROBINET and the General Secretary was AKLI CHABENI.

Today only few know how much important for the WABBA and IFBB was the year of 1989. BEN WEIDER  and SERGE NUBRET  have been fighting in between for nearly twenty years. RENAUT ROBINET with the assistance of sponsors was organizing a very big International Event in Paris. That was the 1989 WABBA Amateur World Championship that never happened.

It was a terrible hit for WABBA when after visiting BEN WEIDER‘S  house in Canada RENAUT ROBINET announced that he stops working with SERGE‘S NUBRET WABBA. As the preparation of the WABBA World Championship was nearly over, RENAUT ROBINET organized in Paris the 1989 IFBB World Amateur Championship instead. BEN WEIDER  got the Super International Event and it terrific hit the WABBA of SERGE NUBRET. After this  falldown WABBA never rised to the same level again. RENAUT ROBINET was not happy also as after this competition he did not receive anything sufficient from BEN WEIDER  and finally he played no role in the International Bodybuilding Sport again. Also we must underline that after the 1989 IFBB World Championship there was no more any Great International Bodybuilding Event in France which was important for the development of the International Bodybuilding on official level as sport.

The 1989 World Amateur Championship was organized an the prestigeous Paris „La Fayette“ International Hotel Congress Palace. All delegates participans also lived in „La Fayette“  hotel. Today the International Sport Specialists state that during all long lasting history of the World‘s Bodybuilding there were only two so well organized International Events ever: the 1989 IFBB World Amateur Championship in Paris and the 2011 WFF-WBBF World Amateur Championship in Vienna (Austria).

To coordinate mutual work the International WFF-WBBF President DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS  as a VIP Guest was invited by BEN WEIDER  to the IFBB World Championship in Paris. Both spent the whole day for the discussions then.

NABBA FRANCE.

The relations of the National Bodybuilding Federations of many Countires with the NABBA International Structure was always very complicated. NABBA International has no juridic registration as the International Sport Organization. Only NABBA UK is registerd as a „Public Club“. That made and still makes many total missunderstandings for those who want to worl legal and official.

It is a tradition that for decades NABBA France works with NABBA UK.  The huge International Events NABBA France never organizes. The last one was the 1991 NABBA Amateur Europe Championship held in Epinal.

During the last ten years NABBA International split at least four times and every time some new „International Federations“ appear. This is making more and more misunderstandings in our sport and filally it fools the sportsmen. After the last NABBA split in 2013 the „opposition“ deleted all official information about NABBA International from Internet.

JURIDICAL NONSENSE IN BODYBUILDING.

There  are lots of „International Federations“ of Bodybuilding and Fitness. In fact totally most of them have no juridical registration as International Sport Organization. Sometimes the Names and Logos are registered only. Such „International Federations“ play no role for the International Official Sport. No serious organizations or governmental institutions can work with them. It is not serious at least. Today the same situation is in France too.

Duding the last twenty years there is a good and the biggest in France International Bodybuilding Competition named „Top De Colmar“. The organizers make a huge work indeed. They  invite International Athletes but  - again no juridical background and no official work, no official recognition.

WFF-WBBF IN FRANCE.

First French athletes started participating at the WFF-WBBF International Events twenty years ago.

During the last period of time best resuls acheved the folowing sportsmen: WFF-WBBF World Amateur Champion  BRIGITTE CREPIEUX  (1996),  WFF-WBBF World Amateur Champion  MARIE PIERRE DOMINIQUE RIPPERT (2003-2004), WFF-WBBF World Amateur Champion  ISABELE STREIT (2006).  Emigrant from Belarus IRINA VALETT FEDORUK was the WFF-WBBF Amateur „Universe“ Champion (2009) and also placed high at the WFF-WBBF Amateur  and Professional World and Europe Championships.

FRENCH BODYBUILDING GLORY – MICKAEL LOUVEL.

During the last years representing WFF-WBBF International Disabled Sport Division French MICKAEL LOUVEL  wins nearly all International Contests he ever participates: WFF-WBBF World Amateur Championship (2009-2010), WFF-WBBF Europe Amateur Championship (2009-2013), World‘s Oldest Traditional Bodybuilding Contest  „Amber Prix International“ (2009) and WFF-WBBFAmateur  „Universe“ (2008, 2009).

Participation of MICKAEL LOUVEL  is a great positive propaganda for the International Bodybuilding Sport.

UNBELIEVABLE STATISTICS.

The WFF-WBBF (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) International Federation is the sole Bodybuilding and Fitness leader in the World when we speak about the Official recognized Sport and the great aims of the International Sport in general, when we touch the real work that is already done to achieve these great aims.

This leadership is proved by numerous members of the WFF-WBBF International  - in 2013 WFF-WBBF united National Organizations from 113 Countries, that represent all Continents. This is proved by the wide International activities of the WFF-WBBF International – WFF-WBBF represent Professional and Amateur sport and the general fitness movement World Wide. This is proved by the anual numerous International Events of the WFF-WBBF – every year WFF-WBBF International Federation holds over 60 International Events in various Countries. This is proved by the five decades lasting history of the WFF-WBBF International – WFF-WBBF Federation starts it‘s activities in the sixties of the last Century.

EVIDENT INTERNATIONAL ACTIVITIES OF THE WFF-WBBF.

The WFF-WBBF International Federation activities are very diferent of those of the other International Bodybuilding and Fitness Organizations. WFF-WBBF International has friendly relations and collaborates with the Official Registered and Officially Recognized International Organizations, National Governmental and Social Organizations of various Countries. It is the clear priority of the WFF-WBBF International.

Everybody see and estimate the huge positive results of  the WFF-WBBF International activities. It is no surprise that Parliaments and Governments, National Olympic Committees  of a number of Countries use to organize Official Meetings with the WFF-WBBF International Leaders. Evaluating the results of the real work done by the WFF-WBBF International the above mentioned Institutions use to award the WFF-WBBF Leaders with the High Honorable Official Awards of the Institutions they represent.

The Religious Organizations too.

PREVIEW. TIME OF PROHIBITION AND PROSECUTION OF BODYBUILDING.

Due to the political reasons in the early seventies of the last century for nearly two decades Bodybuilding was prohibited and prosecuted in the Socialits Countries, especially in the USSR (Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics). Most Bodybuilding leaders got afrayed of the Communist Regime and step away, but not all of them. Among  the few left fighters for the recognition of Bodybuilding  was EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS who on his own initiative and his own risk began the dialoque with the USSR Communist Party Central Committee (Центральный Комитет Коммунистической Партии), the USSR Government (Правительство СССР), the USSR Sport Ministry (Goskomsport, Госкомспорт) administration and the most important communist press – Newspapers „Pravda“ (Правда), „Izvestija“ (Известия) and „Sovietskij Sport“ Советский спорт). EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS wrote many letters, many times he spoke on phone with the represntatives of the Institutions mentioned above.  Finally EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS personally went to to the USSR Capital City Moscow (Russia) to present the officially registered Bodybuilding defending letters to the Headquarters of the all mentioned above Institutions. Those letters of EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS  was like a real „petition“ of the Bodybuilding Sport.

Nobody of the Communist Regime leaders stopped the prohibition and the prosecution of Bodybuilding, but they gave the unbelievable unique permittion for EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS  to go on organizing „Amber Prix International“ Bodybuilding Contest in Klaipeda City (Lithuania). In fact for the two decades of Bodybuilding prohibition the „Amber Prix International“ was the unofficial USSR Bodybuilding Championship and this fact later was accepted by the USSR Sport Ministry when it began presenting honourable „USSR Sport Master“ names for the „Amber Prix International“ Champions. In fact, having no other alternative for the over twenty years time the „Amber Prix International“ was the World Champiosnip of the Socialist Countries. In that time World level Contests in the Western Countries were no higher in the level of Bodybuilders and in the level of organisation, no higher in the number of the participating Countries. In some aspects „Amber Prix International“ was even higher that those in the West.            

VATICAN NAMES BODYBUILDING DISIDENTS.

Vatican is not only the Centre of the World Catholic Church, but it is the State of the Vatican Country too. To present the WFF-WBBF activities in the World in 2011 the Official Meeting of the WFF-WBBF Interantional Federation Leaders was organized in Vatican.

Listening about the Bodybuilding activities during the years of prohibition of this sport in the Socialist Countries the Vatican Congregat Perfect Cardinal J. Em. JOZEF KARDINAL TOMKO was interested very much. The Vatican Congregat Perfect Cardinal J. Em. JOZEF KARDINAL TOMKO positivelly evaluated our efforts to fight for the Bodybuilding Sport recognition and at once named us the „disidents of the Communist Regime“.

Most impressive was the Vatican State evaluation of the contemporary positive work of the WFF-WBBF federation in developing total fitness and bodybuilding throughout the World. For this work done the Vatican Congregat Perfect Cardinal J. Em. JOZEF KARDINAL TOMKO presented the Original Vatican Pontific Medals (Medaglia Ufficiale di Pontificato di Sua Santita Benedetto XVI) to the International President WFF-WBBF Federation EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS and the WFF-WBBF VIP Official Slovak STEFAN HRCKA (Headquarters State Vatican, Cita del Vaticano, March 29, 2011).

During the Official Visit to Vatican the Vatican State Administrator J. Em. PADRE PAOLO presented to the International WFF-WBBF Officials the Vatican Administration Headquarters, the Closed Historic Treasure Archieves of the Vatican and the Storage Place of the historically valuable personal items of all Pontifics of the Vatican State. Early morning at the Vatican St. Peter‘s Basilica the President WFF-WBBF International EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS was invited and participated at the unique personal Mess.

RESPECTFUL BLESSING FROM VATICAN
In 2012 the WFF-WBBF International Headquarters received a letter from the State Vatican.
Sending tht Honourable Blessing Letter the Vatican Pontific BENEDETTO XVI-th once again positively evaluated the efforts of the WFF-WBBF International.

GOOD WORK NOTICED BY PROVOSLAV ORTODOX CHURCH.
The good and positive work done by the WFF-WBBF International Federation was noticed by the Pravoslav Ortodox Church too.
In 2010 the IV-th International Convent of the Order of Temple (Ordo Supremus Militaris Templi Herosolymitani) was held in Coimbra City  (Portugal).
In recognition of the new original ideas to unite all Christian Confessions of the World the Bishop ARCHIMANDRITE CHARALAMPY (Епископ Архимандрит Харалампий) awarded the International WFF-WBBF President EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS with the St. Nicholas the Wonderworker’s Silver-Gold Medal (Позолоченная Серебренная Медаль Святого Николая Чудотворца).

LVOV – LEOPOLIS - THE LION CITY.

On June, 2013 the International President of the WFF-WBBF (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation)  EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS payed the Official Visit to the Ukraine City Lvov.

Having beautiful historic background and nice history rich with the original architectual monuments and buildings Lvov with it‘s  800 000 Cityzen is a real old European City.

Coming to Lvov the President WFF-WBBF International EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS was respectfully met by the Lvov City Official Representatives and who followed him to the best ancient Lvov City „Leopolis“ Hotel Appartments.

MAJOR CITY LVOV ANDREJ SADOVYJ.

During the first day of the Official Visit to the City Lvov the President WFF-WBBF International EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS at the Municipal Lvov City Headquarters had the Official Meeting with the City Major ANDREJ SADOVYJ (голова львовской городской рады Андрiй Садовий).

Also at the meeting were present the Chairman Administration City Lvov ANDRIJ MOSKALENKO (Андрiй Москаленко), the Chairman of the City Social and Sport Affairs, the Chairman of the City Foreign Affiars and the President WFF-WBBF Region West Ukraine VASILIJ BESPALENKO.

The questions of the common future work in total fitness and Professional sport were spoken over and the preparation of the huge WFF-WBBF International Event in the City of  Lvov started.

DOCTOR OF SCIENCES, DSC . HIGH EVALUATION OF WORK DONE – UNEXPECTED SURPRISE.

After the evaluation of the International work done by the President WFF-WBBF International EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS the Lvov City Stavropigion University  (started  it‘s history in 1788) presented  EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS the Honorable Academic „University Science Doctor‘s“ Degree (Doctor Honoris Causa, Doctor of Sciences, DSc).

And this is the Highest Academic Degree and this is already the actual International Bodybuilding Sport HISTORY.

At the Lvov City Stavropigion University  Honour Ceremony were present many High Representatives of Science, among them the Rector Lvov Stavropigion University, Vice President UNESCO Programm Centre Professor JAROSLAV KMIT (Ярослав Кмiт), the Rector Moscow University and Academic of the International Academy of Euroasia, Academic Science Academy High Scools Ukraine,  Professor VIKTOR IDZIO (Вiктор Iдзьо).

FIRST BODYBUILDING AND FITNESS UNIVERSITY CAPHEDRA.

During the Lvov City Stavropigion University  Science Council meeting the Lvov City Stavropigion University presented  to the President WFF-WBBF International EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS the Honorable Academic „University Science Doctor‘s“ Degree (Doctor Honoris Causa, Doctor of Sciences, DSc).

Also during the Lvov City Stavropigion University  Science Council meeting was announced that the Lvov City Stavropigion University  Bodybuilding and Fitness Caphedra was been established.

Then the  President WFF-WBBF Region West Ukraine VASILIJ BESPALENKO was appointed to lead the Lvov City Stavropigion University  Bodybuilding and Fitness Caphedra.

VASILIJ BESPALENKO is the first known Ukraine participating Internatiional Bodybuilding Athlete (from 1973). During the prohibition of bodybuilding sport in the Socialist Countries VASILIJ BESPALENKO  was brave enough to come to Klaipeda (Lithuania) and participate at the Worlds Oldest Traditional Bodybuilding „Amber Prix International“ Contests (1968-2013) that were regularly organized by EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS. At those times the „Amber Prix International“ Competitions were the unofficial Bodybuilding Championship of the USSR and the World Championship of the Socialist Countries as well in fact. And this fact was officially recognized by the USSR Sport Ministry (Goskomsport) when later the USSR Sport Ministry started to present the Highest „USSR Sport Master“ Degrees for the „Amber Prix International“ Champions.

When the times of bodybuilding prohibition in the Socialist Countries were over the above mentioned Ukrainian VASILIJ BESPALENKO was the first Official President National Bodybuilding Federation Ukraine, recognized by Ukraine State Sport Ministry (1986-1990).

From now led by VASILIJ BESPALENKO the Lvov City Stavropigion University  Bodybuilding and Fitness Caphedra will prepare highest level Bodybuilding and Fitness trainers and teachers for the Ukraine State.

INNAR MARDO – THE HEART OF ESTONIA BODYBUILDING.

During the long lasting history of Estonia bodybuilding there were no more so High Bodybuilding Personalities, so skilled organizers and trainers as INNAR MARDO.

INNAR MARDO  started his International activities with the prestigeous „Georg Tenno Memorial“ competitions. During his life he became very Professional in this sport. Together with the contemporary President of the WFF-WBBF (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) International Federation DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS, INNAR MARDO was for many years in contact with all main World‘s Bodybuilding Leaders such as BEN WEIDER, OSCAR HEIDENSTAM, SERGE NUBRET.

AMBER PRIX INTERNATIONAL.

Representing Estonia for many years INNAR MARDO was the Head of all National Teams to the World‘s Oldest Tradinional Bodybuilding Contest – the „Amber Prix International“ (1968-2013).

During the twenty years of  prohibition and prosecution of  Bodybuilding Sport in the Socialist Countries and the USSR, the „Amber Prix International“ (evey year organized in Klaipeda, Lithuania) was the unofficial World Bodybuilding Championship of the Socialist Countries and the Bodybuilding Championship of the USSR (see in various languages more information on the International Internet Site www.wff.lt  main page and forum topics „World Bodybuilding History. How it was in real“ and also in the Official WFF-WBBF International Magazine „Sport of Fitness and Bodybuilding“, Issues No. 28,33,34).

FIRST PARTICIPATIONS ABROAD.

For the 20 years of bodybuiding prohibition and prosecution in the Socialist Countries and the USSR bodybuilding contests were organized very hard and Always not regularly. The only one exception was „Amber Prix International“. Bodybuilders could only dream to participate at bodybuilding contests abroad. Again DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS  took the initiative. Working for the coming mutual International Event in Czechoslovakia, DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS communicated with the President National Bodybuilding Federation Czechoslovakia VOJTECH FIALA, the organizers Professor FRANTISEK BULVA, IVEN MACH, IVAN KOLOUCH.

Finally DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS reached the aim – the official invitations and permitions were received and the top USSR bodybuilders could go to compete in Czechoslovakia. Working on this Project DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS took part in two Congresses of the Council National Bodybuilding Federation Czechoslovakia (1977, Brno, Bratislava), visited the Camp of the National Bodybuilding Team Czechoslovakia, had meetings with the publishers of the Czechoslovakia Sport Magazine „Trener“ JOSEF MAZAK  and  MILAN PERDOCH. But it happened as it happens very often – a number  of the USSR bodybuilding leaders started inner fighting and this ruined the USSR-Czechoslovakia Project so hard developed by DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS and National Bodybuilding Federation Czechoslovakia.

Then DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS gave his preliminary work done to INNAR MARDO.  Using personal contacts of DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS Estonia made the first step abroad and participated at the International Bodybuilding Contest in Poland. OLEV ANNUS  was the Over All Winner again and this attracted attention to the Soviet Bodybuilding and participating Athletes very much. Estonians received a number of new invitations to participate at the International Events in the Socialist Countries. Then led by INNRA MARDO  Estonians OLEV ANNUS  and INDREK OTSUS (also the Champion of the „Amber Prix International“) were the Winners again.

Later on when times of the „Gorbachov perestrojka“ came many other Estonia bodybuilding teams managed to participate at the International Events abroad. These Estonia bodybuilding teams were led by PRANAS MICKEVICIUS  and  PAVEL KOSENKO.

HEPLING ESTONIANS.

In 1989 DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS for several months was working in Tallinn. This year Estonia bodybuilding was going down and nobody wanted to organize any competitions.

Supporting the Estonians DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS spoke with INDREK OTSUS  and pressed him to take the initiative to organize „Georg Tenno Memorial“. DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS invited bodybuilding teams of the surrounding countries and the contest was successfuly organized.

NATIONAL FEDERATION WFF-WBBF ESTONIA.

Ending the nineties of the last Century INNAR MARDO  was very active in the work of the WFF-WBBF International. At that time the National federation WFF-WBBF Estonia was set and registered officially. INNAR MARDO  was the first President of the National Federation WFF-WBBF Estonia.

In 2001 INNAR MARDO  was one of the main organizers of the WFF-WBBF Europe Championship in the capital Estonia City of Tallinn.

After unexpectidly early INNAR MARDO  passed away the Estonians use to organize anual „Innar Mardo Memorial“ Contest.

During the last period of time the Presidents of the National Federation WFF-WBBF Estonia were a number of known bodybuilders and organizers:  INNAR MARDO (1998-2001 m.), PAVEL KOSENKO (2001-2008 m.), IGOR ODNENKO (2008), ALEKSANDR SEVCOV (after 2009 m.).

In 2009 National Federation WFF-WBBF Estonia organized the WFF-WBBF Amateur World Championship in Tallinn. No other International bodybuilding contest in Estonia sport history had never been so high in the level of organization, level of the athletes, number of the participating countires.

During the last period one of Estonia Reform Party Leaders ALEKSEJ FILATOV works very muchfor the country bodybuilding.

HIGHEST OFFICIAL MEETINGS.

Developing bodybuilding sport in Estonia a number of important official meetings were made.

In 2008 Intrenational President WFF-WBBF DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS took part at the official meeting at the Estonia National Olympic Committee and discussed sport problems with the General Secretary NOC Estonia TOOMAS TONISE.

In 2009 Intrenational President WFF-WBBF DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS took part at the official meeting with Estonia Reform Party (Reformierakond) Leaders at the Estonia Parliament (Riigikogu).  

Also  in 2009 Intrenational President WFF-WBBF DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS took part at the official meeting at the Ministry of Culture Republic Estonia where discussed sport matters with the vice minister TONU SEIL who was responsible for the sport in Estonia.

ESTONIA GREATEST INTERNATIONAL EVENTS EVER.

During the history of Estonia bodybuilding three great International Events were organized. That were Amateur World Championships (WFF-WBBF in 2009 and IFBB in 2010) and WFF-WBBF Amateur Europe Championship (2001).

ESTONIANS – WORLD BODYBUILDING CHAMPIONS.

During the history of Estonia bodybuilding a number of Estonians became World Amateur Champions. That were OLEV ANNUS (1992, NABBA), MAREK KALMUS (2005,WFF-WBBF), ALEKSANDR SEVCOV (2009, Over All WFF-WBBF World Champion), OTT KIIVIKAS (2010, IFBB).

The only one of Estonia bodybuilders ALEKSANDR SEVCOV became the WFF-WBBF Professional World Champion (2010).

FEDERATION WFF-WBBF SCANDINAVIA.
During the last 20 years representatives of the Scandinavia Countries of Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway many times participated at the International WFF-WBBF (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) Events.

To meet the lacal sport leaders and sportsmen the President WFF-WBBF International DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS  visited Denmark and Sweden.
Hard working for the sport development the President National Federation WFF-WBBF Denmark PALLE RASMUSSEN (Palle Katring – Rasmussen) united the regional countries and now he leads the WFF-WBBF Scandinavia Federation for it‘s  future goals.
In 2013 the representatives of Scandinavia Bodybuilding Sport visited the International Headquarters WFF-WBBF in Klaipeda (Lithuania). The future plans of the developing bodybuilding in their region were spoken over.

We would like to underline that due to the extraordinary International Sport Work in 2008 the President WFF-WBBF International DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS and the Governor State California ARNOLD ALOIS SCHWARZENEGGER received the Special Award – both of them were included to the Honour Book (Hall of Fame) of the Kingdom of Denmark.

HISTORYCAL BACKGROUND.

WFF-WBBF (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) International started it‘s activities with the historical „Amber Prix International“ contests  (1968-2013).

Belarus bodybuilders started participating at the „Amber Prix International“ contests in 1977. Then the first competitors were VALERIJ BOGDANOVIC  and VLADIMIR ALEKSANDROVIC.

At the 1995 “AMber Prix International“ the Winners were VIKTOR SACHARUK  and  TATJANA KOVALKO.

At the 1996 WFF-WBBF Europe Amateur Championship  ANDREJ KRIKSIN  became a Category Winner.

At the 1998 WFF-WBBF World Amateur Championship the Vice Champion was TATJANA KOVALKO.

At the 2001 WFF-WBBF Europe Amateur Championship the Vice Champion was DMITRIJ KRASKOVSKIJ.

„AMBER PRIX INTERNATIONAL“.  TIME OF PROHIBITION AND PROSECUTION OF BODYBUILDING.

Due to the political reasons in the early seventies of the last century for nearly two decades Bodybuilding was prohibited and prosecuted in the Socialits Countries, especially in the USSR (Union of the Soviet Socialist Republics). Most Bodybuilding leaders got afrayed of the Communist Regime and step away, but not all of them. Among  the few left fighters for the recognition of Bodybuilding  was DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS who on his own initiative and his own risk began the dialoque with the USSR Communist Party Central Committee (Центральный Комитет Коммунистической Партии), the USSR Government (Правительство СССР), the USSR Sport Ministry (Goskomsport, Госкомспорт) administration and the most important communist press – Newspapers „Pravda“ (Правда), „Izvestija“ (Известия) and „Sovietskij Sport“ Советский спорт). DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS wrote many letters, many times he spoke on phone with the represntatives of the Institutions mentioned above.  Finally DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS personally went to to the USSR Capital City Moscow (Russia) to present the officially registered Bodybuilding defending letters to the Headquarters of the all mentioned above Institutions. Those letters of DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS  was like a real „petition“ of the Bodybuilding Sport.

Nobody of the Communist Regime leaders stopped the prohibition and the prosecution of Bodybuilding, but they gave the unbelievable unique permittion for DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS  to go on organizing „Amber Prix International“ Bodybuilding Contest in Klaipeda City (Lithuania). In fact for the two decades of Bodybuilding prohibition the „Amber Prix International“ was the unofficial USSR Bodybuilding Championship and this fact later was accepted by the USSR Sport Ministry when it began presenting honourable „USSR Sport Master“ names for the „Amber Prix International“ Champions. In fact, having no other alternative for the over twenty years time the „Amber Prix International“ was the World Champiosnip of the Socialist Countries. In that time World level Contests in the Western Countries were no higher in the level of Bodybuilders and in the level of organisation, no higher in the number of the participating Countries. In some aspects „Amber Prix International“ was even higher that those in the West.

OFFICIAL BELARUS NATIONAL FEDERATION.

Working without official juridical registration for many years the  Belarus bodybuilding was led by VALERIJ BOGDANOVIC, VLADIMIR ALEKSANDROVIC, contemporary General Secretary National Olympic Committee Republic Belarus SERGEJ KATULIN and DMITRIJ KRASKOVSKIJ.

In 2010 the official National Belarus WFF-WBBF federation was registered in the country. The President of the federation is VLADIMIR KURILCIK.

In 2012 VLADIMIR KURILCIK  was appointed to the position of the President WFF-WBBF Europe and in 2013 VALENTINA KOZLOVSKAJA  was appointed to the position of the Chairman Model Fitness Division WFF-WBBF Europe.

BEST BELARUS BODYBUILDERS.

Being for many years silent on International Sport Level Belarus suddenly became so high with a number of talanted bodybuilders.

VALENTINA KOZLOVSKAJA became the Over All Winner of the 2012 WFF-WBBF Europe Amateur Championship, the Over All Winner of the „Amber Prix International“ and the medalist of the WFF-WBBF Pro World Championship „Amber Prix OLYMPIA“, the medalist of the WFF-WBBF Pro Europe Championship.

SERGEJ KOSTEL  was the medalist of the 2012 WFF-WBBF Professional  World Championship „Amber Prix OLYMPIA“ and  the medalist of the WFF-WBBF Professional  Europe Championship as well.

ANDREJ DAVYDCIK was the Champion of the 2013 WFF-WBBF Europe Amateur Championship and the Champion of the 2013 WFF-WBBF Professional World Cup.

ALEKSANDR BORSAN was the Champion of the 2012 WFF-WBBF Europe Amateur Championship, the medalist of the 2011 WFF-WBBF Europe Amateur Championship too.

ILJA LUKAVEC was the Over All Winner of the 2012 Junior WFF-WBBF World  Amateur Championship and the Vice Champion of the WFF-WBBF World  Amateur Championship as well.

WFF-WBBF EUROPE CHAMPIONSHIP.

Led by the President Belarus National WFF-WBBF Federation VLADIMIR KURILCIK in 2012 the WFF-WBBF Europe Amateur Championship was held in Belarus City of Bobruisk.  The Championship collected over 300 athletes from over 30 participating countries.

To participate at the International Congress and at a number of Press Conferences the International President DSc.EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS, WFF-WBBF International Vice President ANDREJ BASOV  and President WFF-WBBF South America JORGE CEDALE  visited Belarus in 2012.

HISTORY.

Poland and Czechoslovakia were ones of the first European Countries which started developing Bodybuilding Sport in the Europe Continent. WFF-WBBF (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) International historically is connected with Polish Bodybuilding from the old sixties of the last century. There were many different  common actions together in Lithuania and Poland, but unfortunatelly that had no constant working background. From the seventies up to nineties Bodybuilding Sport was prohibited and prosecuted in the Socialist Countries, especially in the USSR. Every survived as they could then.

At that time knowing various languages the President WFF-WBBF International EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS  was personally in the centre of all most important International Bodybuilding Events. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS was in touch with nearly all World‘s Bodybuilding Leaders of all International Federations and of many National Federations as well. Every possible moment EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS was visiting and corresponding them.

When everybody was afrayed to work for Bodybuilding EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS  did a risky for those times of Bodybuilding prohibition preliminary work and sent to a Polish Event a Legendary Estonia Bodybuilding Leader INNAR MARDO and the Over All „Amber Prix International“ Winner OLEV ANNUS (for many years „Amber Prix International“ was the onofficial USSR Bodybuilding Championship later recognized by the Sport Ministry). It was Poland which hosted first Best USSR Bodybuilders at the International  Contest in Warszawa (1979).  Then OLEV ANNUS  became the Over All Winner in Warszawa.

POLISH BODYBUILDING THUNDERSTONE EXPOLSION.

Under the initietive of ANDRZEJ MACIEJEWSKI Poland National Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation became a constant member of the WFF-WBBF International in 2006.

During these years a very noticable and important work was done by the Over All World Amateur Champion ALEKSANDRA KOBIELAK who with her unique personal Great Talant leads the WFF-WBBF International „Fit-Kid“ Divission now.

Under the support of the Minister Sport Poland ZBIGNIEW PACELT in 2008 Poland organized a successfull WFF-WBBF Amateur World Championship in Bydgoszcz City. The Over All Winner was WOJCIECH MAX NADOLSKI and the contemporary National President WFF-WBBF Poland  ANDRZEJ MAJCHRZYK  was the Vice Champion too.

In 2012 Best Bodybuilders Poland entered a number of World‘s most important International Bodybuilding Contests – the WFF-WBBF Pro World Championship „Amber Prix OLYMPIA“ (30 000 US dollars), WFF-WBBF World Amateur Championship and WFF-WBBF Pro „Universe“.

In May, 2013 the WFF-WBBF Poland organized a terrific National Championship (Starogard Gdanski) and participated with a strongest National Team possible at the 45-th „Amber Prix International“ (1968-2013) and WFF-WBBF Europe Cup Open in Kaunas (Lithuania). To say the truth – the Bodybuilding World was in real shok. Nobody ever expected that Poland has so many good International Level of Bodybuilders! Polish Bodybuilders proved that today only the USA, Russia, Brazil and Iran can be on the same level as Bodybuilders Poland  are. The WFF-WBBF International thanks the National Federation WFF-WBBF Poland for good work done and we are proud of them! Go on, Poland!

OFFICIAL EUROPE AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP REPORT.

In March 2013  the President WFF-WBBF (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) International EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS was on Official Visit to Ukraine Charkov City the second time. The International President was assisted by the Vice President WFF-WBBF International ANDREJ BASOV, who came from Russia.

OFFICIAL MEETING AT THE CITY MAJOR HEADQUARTERS.

The Official Meeting at the Headquarters Major City Charkov was organized again. To go on with the coming event the Vice Chairman City Charkov ALEKSANDR POPOV and the President Ukraine National WFF-WBBF  Federation OLGA GLADKOVA signed the 2013 WFF-WBBF Europe Amateur  Championship  Statute documents.

ORGANIZING COMMITTEE.

During the official visit the 2013 WFF-WBBF Europe Amateur Championship Organizing Committe was finished to collect and it was announced for the multiple Ukraine media and press. Among the Members of the Organizing Committee there is a  number of the Directors of various Municipal Departments too. Many organizing questions were discussed and important decissions on the Event were made too.

IFBB SUPPORTS «RUSSIAN SCHWARCENEGGER».

Ukraine IFBB officials addressed the Administration City Charkov and presented information about the respected Russia Federation Governmental State Official, the WFF-WBBF VIP International Official, three times WFF-WBBF „Universe“ («Юниверс» ВФФ-ВББФ) Champion, a famous Hollywood Actor and Producer, called „Russia Schwarzenegger“ («Русским Шварценеггером») ALEKSANDR NEVSKY. 

At once the Chairman City Charkov decided to invite ALEKSANDR NEVSKY to be a VIP Charkov City Quest during the time of the coming WFF-WBBF Europe Amateur Championship in Charkov. The Chairman City Charkov called ALEKSANDR NEVSKY  to Moscow and received the preliminary agreement of ALEKSANDR NEVSKY to participate in Charkov.

CHARKOV BODYBUILDING PRO WORLD GRAND PRIX.

The Organizing Committee works on the possibility to organize for Professional Bodybuilders right after the 2013 WFF-WBBF Europe Amateur Championship at the same Venue in Charkov City  the 2013 WFF-WBBF „Charkov Professional World Grand Prix“ with the usual Prize Money on June 2. That will be already the fourth WFF-WBBF International Pro Event in one month period!

After evaluating the WFF-WBBF (World Fitness Federation, World Body Building Federation) International bodybuilding activities that are lasting for  nearly 50 years, the WFF-WBBF received substantional political and financial support for a huge global project called „Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding“, the ultimate book on bodybuilding  («Энциклопедиясовременногокультуризма»).  No other International Bodybuilding Organization ever dared to start such a great Project as this one. At the moment the support reaches over 200 000 US dollars, but as the encyclopedia will be translated into various languages, the amount of money will be enlarged.

The positive activities of the WFF-WBBF International have been seen widely. Even the Vatican. In 2011 the Roman Pope Benedictus XVI presented to the heads of the WFF-WBBF International his Medallion (Medaglia Ufficiale di Pontificato di Sua Santita Benedetto XVI) and in 2012 he blesed the WFF-WBBF International activities.

WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

The real work over this unique global Project already started.  The Head of the Professional working goup of the „Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding“  is the President WFF-WBBF International EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS. This Encyclopedia will be as the „opponent“ to the previous Bodybuilding Histories ans stories that were written for the commercial private sport structures, most of the USA. As you know – sport commercial people wrote bodybuilding sport history for themselves in person and there was no place for lots of the Bodybuilding Legends.  Bodybuilding history of South America, Africa and Asia Countries have never been even mentioned before. Many important International Persons and International Bodybuilding activities and competitions (among them the World‘s oldest Bodybuilding Contest – the „Amber Prix International“) too. Not a single word! And this lack of information coveres  the totaly biggest part of the World!!! The Encyclopedia will present over five hundred well known athletes, who have participated at the International Events during the last fifty years.

We will do our best to write the Real Another Bodybuilding History, that will be proved by the presented real documents and facts. We will present the legal and also we will underline the unofficial federations and various kind of sport units. We will present many until now hidden VIP International Bodybuilding Persons, Bodybuilding Legends, Great Sportsmen and their Trainers. We will show a number of hidden International Contests, that played and still play a great role for the development of the global bodybuilding sport in general. Also on the real definite bodybuilding examples we will present the inovations of the contemporary bodybuilding training methods and thechnologies and dieting.

We hope the Encyclopedia will be a success as until now there has been done nothing similar of the kind in the World. We work on preparing and publishing bodybuilding materials from 1989. Some of our previous magazines were published in various languages in over 2 000 000 issues and sucessfully spread in various countries. A number of International Bodybuilding generations grew on our books and magazines.

First of all for the „Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding“  we will use our huge historic personal archieves of the WFF-WBBF International. Also the ones of the  IFBB (International Federation of Body Builders), WABBA (World Amateur Body Building Association) and NABBA (National Amateur Body Building Association) that we collected during the 50 years lasting bodybuilding activities. Also we use the IFBB juridic documents that were given us by the IFBB Owner and life President BEN WEIDER, the IFBB Lower ALEX BAUER and the IFBB Vice President PAUL CHUA, the WABBA Owner and President SERGE NUBRET, NABBA Presidents OSCAR HEIDENSTAM and IVAN DUNBAR.
