Part One of the Encyclopedia covering period since ancient times to 1973 is finished. Now we are working on the Second Book covering period of time since 1973 until 1991.

Holland bodybuilder JULIETTE BERGMANN (1958) since 1983 until 2003 participated at the twenty three I.F.B.B. competitions. Best results of JULIETTE BERGMANN were the first places at the 1985 I.F.B.B. Amateur World Championship, at the 1986 I.F.B.B. Pro World Championship and in 2001, 2002, 2003 I.F.B.B. Pro “Miss Olympia” contests.

2022. WORLD BODYBUILDING TODAY.

CONTEMPORARY BODYBUILDING IS NOT A SPORT.

Today bodybuilding moves fastly. Many new organizations appear, many private businessmen are cheating bodybuilders and organize contests with „great names“. They have no history. Now bodybuilding is only business and commerce. It has nothing to do with real sport

HOW IT STARTED.

Bodybuilding became a recognized sport in 1947. Then during more than twenty years through A.A.U. (Amateur Athletic Union) and F.I.H.C. (F.I.H., Federation Internationale Halterophile; now I.W.F., International Weightlifting Federation); the „Father of the USA Weightlifting“ BOB HOFFMAN  rulled the World‘s bodybuilding sport. .

Through the F.I.H.C. behind BOB HOFFMAN was I.O.C. (International Olympic Committee). F.I.H.C. organized bodybuilding World and Continent Championships, the International „Universe“ contests. The first F.I.H.C. „Universe“ was organized in 1947 in the US, the second during the 1948 Olympic Games in London.

Lebanon bodybuilder SAMIR BANNOUT (1955) since 1974 until 2011 participated at the fifty nine I.F.B.B., W.A.B.B.A. and N.A.B.B.A. competitions. Best results of SAMIR BANNOUT were the first places in 1979 at the I.F.B.B. World Amateur Championship, in 1983 at the I.F.B.B. Pro “Mr. Olympia” and in 1985 at the W.A.B.B.A. Pro World Championship.

British bodybuilder EUGENE LAVISCOUNT since 1979 until 1992 participated at the eighteen N.A.B.B.A. and W.A.B.B.A. Competitions. Best results of EUGENE LAVISCOUNT were the first places in 1984 at the W.A.B.B.A. and in 1985 at the N.A.B.B.A. World Amateur Championships. In 1985 and in 1986 he was at the first places at the N.A.B.B.A. „Mr. Universe“ Contests.

CORY EVERSON

It is evident today that USA bodybuilder CORY EVERSON (1959) in women bodybuilding was as ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER in men’s. she was the first ant she will remain the first for all times. She was hot married a powerful billionaire and that was the reason she did not become a Governor of California and she did not become a Hollywood star.

In 1981 CORY EVERSON several times was an A.A.U. Champion. All together she participated at twelve contests and always was the Winner. Since 1982 CORY EVERSON participated at the I.F.B.B. competitions. She was six times I.F.B.B. Pro “Miss Olympia” Champion (1984 – 1989).

OFFICIAL VISIT TO INDIA.

On August 1-8, 2022 the Rector of the International Sport University (I.S.U.) DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS was  on official visit to India.

OFFICIAL VISIT TO LUDHIANA STATE UNIVERSITY.

Under the preliminary agreement official visit to the Ludhiana State University was paid. I.S.U. Rector DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS was assisted with the Pro Rector Professor LALIT KUMAR SONI.

DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS gave a lecture to the Ludhiana University students, answered to their questions and had a discussion on future work with the Administration of the University including the Rector.

VISIT TO INDIA JOGA ACADEMY.

Being with Official Visit in India I.S.U. Rector DSc. EDMUNDAS DAUBARAS and Pro Rector Professor LALIT KUMAR SONI were invited to visit India Joga Academy. Academy teaches future joga specialists. The best Academy students presented their joga skils to the V.I.P. Guests.

One of the first World’s competitive bodybuilder was RACHEL MCLISH (USA, 1958). Since 1980 until 1984 she participated at the eight I.F.B.B. contests. Best results of RACHEL MCLISH were the first places in 1980, 1982 at the I.F.B.B. Pro “Miss Olympia” and in 1982 at the I.F.B.B. Pro World Championship.
